Our Sunday School (Faith Formation) classes are at 9:00 am Sunday Mornings.  Classes are for all ages, and we hope to see your children for fun and JESUS! Our teachers teach about the principles of truth in a fun and creative yet challenging way.

 

On Sunday we have a nursery for ages infant to age 5. It is in the East wing on the main floor.

Our goal is to provide the best care possible for your child during worship service and Sunday school time.

 

Adult Studies – We have theme based studies throughout the year.

We offer a variety of studies and formats in our effort to reach everyone as they grow in their spiritual and biblical understanding.

 

Camp – With multiple camps to choose from in the Iowa Conference, we actively support each camper with scholarships. 

United Methodist Camps offer a wealth of experiences throughout the year.

 

Vacation Bible School (VBS) – We partner with other local churches and host an action-packed week for kids and volunteers each summer. In 2021 we were delighted to participate in an Ecumenical ONE DAY VBS CAMP. Many children from Adel came to enjoy the day, leaning about Jesus and FUN with FAITH!

 

Women’s Ministries – Women are able to grow in their faith through vibrant Bible studies, events & fellowship.

 

 

 

Handbell Choir – During the program year, our handbell choir rehearses and performs monthly from September through May.

 

 

Chancel Choir – Our choir is a group of adults who enjoy singing together to assist in creating a musical presence for worship services at Adel UMC. We perform ecumenically on Memorial Day and Palm Sunday.

 

Praise Band – Our praise band is a blend of contemporary Christian music and, sometimes, traditional hymns. They will perform during our worship service.
